The third quarter of 2025 saw dynamic shifts in the performance of food delivery applications in Kenya on the Android platform. Here’s a closer look at how the top apps fared, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Glovo: Food & Grocery Delivery showed a consistent increase in weekly downloads, peaking at about 12.6K by the end of September. Active users fluctuated throughout the quarter, starting at approximately 238K and closing at 256K.

Bolt Food: Delivery & Takeaway experienced a steady rise in downloads, reaching approximately 6.2K by the end of the quarter. The app’s active users also saw an increase, maintaining a figure around 52K by the end of September.

Dial a Delivery downloads varied significantly, with a notable peak of around 8.5K in mid-August. However, the downloads saw a decline towards the end of the quarter.

Uber Eats: Food and Grocery had a gradual increase in downloads, particularly notable in September, ending with about 1.2K. The active user base grew from around 36.7K to 36.1K over the quarter.

Finally, Oaks & Corks - Alcohol Deliver maintained a steady download rate, hovering around 200 per week, with no significant fluctuations.
